Charlton

Patsy Ann Derrick Charlton, 73, of Mount Pleasant passed away Wednesday, Aug. 20, at her residence. Graveside services were held on Aug. 23, at Lone Star Cemetery with the Rev. Gib Johnson officiating under the direction of Curry-Welborn Funeral Home.
Patsy was born Aug. 7, 1941 in Mount Pleasant to Vester and Bonnie Bell Moss Derrick. She was a loving mother, mawmaw and homemaker and she attended Mount Moriah Baptist Church.
Patsy is survived by her daughter Pam and Riley Collier of Cookville; son Jerry Michael Charlton of Omaha; grandchildren Kimberly and Jody Yandle of Pittsburg, Dustan Sikes of Cookville, Trent and Kelly Hammonds of Cookville, Krystle Collier of Cookville; eight great grandchildren; sister Paulette and Gary Strawn of Mount Pleasant; brother Donald and Retta Derrick of Omaha.

Spratt

A graveside service for Hartzel Bennett Spratt, 89, (formerly of Pittsburg) was held Aug. 16 at New Mine Cemetery in Pittsburg with Bro. Tim Parker officiating. She was born July 17, 1925 in Perryville. She died at her home in Paris Aug. 14.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law Buddy and Debra Spratt of Paris; four daughters, Patty Drake; Susan and her husband Morris Briggs, Jill and her husband Bob Johns and Melissa and her husband Joe Salter, all of Paris; three sisters, Hazel Spearman, Helen Reynolds of Longview, and Nelwyn Hudgens of Amarillo; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents: Warren Frank Bennett and Myrtle Snead; her  spouse, Bruce Spratt; siblings, Billie Smith, Glen Bennett, Tim Bennett, Faye Scudder and Mildred Hughey.

Seale

Services for Charlene Seale, 92, were held Saturday, Aug. 16, at Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Bros. Chris Jones and Doyle Rust officiating. Interment was in County Line (Riley) Cemetery.
She was born Feb. 26, 1922 in Camp County to Elbert and Velma (Rumsey) Robinson. She died Wednesday, Aug. 13 at her home in Pittsburg. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons and daughters-inlaw, Lecil and Elisabeth Seale and Jackie and Sherri Seale, all of Pittsburg; two daughters and sons-in-law, Sue and Jerry Pilgrim of Florida and JoAnn and David Frye of Longview; two brothers, Verlon Robinson of Smyrna, Ga., and Carroll and sister-in-law, Mildred Robinson of Pittsburg; seven grandchildren; 10 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Neil O. Seale; one sister, Evelyn Inez Peters and son Davy Seale.

Shearin

A graveside service for Carolyn Jean Shearin, 68, was held last Saturday at Leesburg Cemetery with the Rev. Rex French officiating. Mrs. Shearin was born June 11, 1946 in Temple. She died Wednesday, Aug. 6 at East Texas Medical Center in Tyler. Survivors include her
husband, Herschel Bishop of Cason; one son and daughter- in-law, Michael W. and Cindy Shearin of Pittsburg; three daughters and sonsin- law, Laura and William  Coleman of Poteet; Kathy Holley-Kite and Michael Kite and Linda and Scott Kirkland, all of Pittsburg; one brother, Bob; four sisters, Sis, Barbara, Nellie and Nora Mae; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin Clinton Kelly and Ruby Ray Grisham Kelly and her husband, John Shearin.

Massey
Services for Wanda Massey, 77, were held at Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel Thursday, Aug. 7 at 2 p.m. Bros. Kyle Smith and DannyTrimble officiated and interment was in Crossroads Cemetery. Mrs. Massey was born Feb. 24, 1937 in Camp County. As a member of Pine Baptist Church, she was devoted to her church and was an avid player of Pokeno and hand and foot card games.
She is survived by her husband Bobby Don Massey of Pittsburg; two sons, Dennis and his wife Vicki Massey of Gilmer and Greg Massey of Pittsburg; and four grandchildren. Pallbearers were: BillyTaylor, Kyle Nugent, Doug Willette, Kevin Massey, Steve Efurd and Greg Efurd. Honorary pallbearers were John Hart Efurd, Pete Taylor, Jeff Efurd and Doyle Nugent. Storm
Rebecca Storm, 60, died Friday, Aug. 1 at Titus Regional Medical Center. A graveside service, under the direction of Erman Smith Funeral Home, was held Monday at the Leesburg Cemetery with Bro. David Kizer officiating.
Mrs. Storm was born Feb. 13, 1954 in Fort Worth. She worked as a registered nurse and she was a Baptist.
She is survived by her husband, Edward H. Storm III of Leesburg; one son, Edward H. Storm IV of Mount Pleasant; two daughters and sons-in-law, Deborah and Darin Baisden of Pittsburg; Paula and Otis Rish of Corpus Christi; two brothers, Donald Wayne Neece of Paris and Bubba Neece of Palestine; wo sisters, Alice Jones of Saginaw and Betty Garmon of Alabama and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Virgil L. Neece and Maebell Neece and one brother, C.A. Neece. Pallbearers were Aaron Taylor, Brian Taylor, Christian Rish, Otis Rish, Darin Baisden and Michael Plunkett.

French
Michael (Mike) Patrick French of Mount Pleasant, 67, passed away Friday, July 25, in Mount Vernon. He was born May 24, 1947 in Pittsburg. He was the son of Harrison Morton and Vivian Earl (Dickson) French.
Mr. French was of the Methodist faith and a self employed Master Plumber. He served his country during Vietnam in the United States Army.

Green

Services for Jerry Green, 72, were held Monday, July 21 at Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Montgomery officiating. Interment was in Matinburg Cemetery. 
 
Mr. Green died Friday, July 18 at East Texas Medical Center. Mr. Green was the owner of Green Motor Company in Pittsburg for many years. He was a member of the Matinburg Baptist Church. Survivors include three sons and two daughters-in-law, Rafe and Tammy Green, Jason and Kaci Green of Daingerfield and Jim Green; four grandchildren, McKenzie Green, Gracie Green, Trent Green, Emily Green and one great grandchild Mia Kate Crayton.
 
He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn, and his parents Clarence Aubrey and Mable Thelma Hackler Green.
