Davis

Services for Emma Jean Davis, 98, were held Tuesday, Oct. 21 at Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Mike Miller and Virgil Faires officiating. Interment was in Leesburg Cemetery.
Mrs. Davis was born Dec. 19, 1915 in Winnsboro. She died Friday, Oct. 17 at Southern Wind Manor. She was a member of the Union Church of Christ. She is survived by two sons and one daughter- in-law, Larry and Brenda Davis and Van Davis; one daughter, Sandra Davis; one sister, Otha D. Owsley of Longview; seven grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and numerous great-great-grandchildren. 
She was preceded in death by her spouse, Lynard Davis; her parents, Millard Fillmore Coe and Maud Ola Jordan Coe; two brothers, Hubert Coe and Buford Coe; and one sister, Odean Clements. Unger

Services for Paul Unger, 92, were held Wedneday, Oct. 15 at Greer Blvd. Church of Christwith Virgil Faires officiating. Interment was held at Rose Hill Cemetery in Pittsburg.
Mr. Unger was born Jan. 30, 2922 on Coolidge to the late James Leory Unger and the late Lila Hux Unger. He died Monday, Oct. 13 at East Texas Medical Center Pittsburg. Mr. Unger worked at Mike Benet for many years and also helped build trainer planes for North American Aviation during World War II. He is survived by his wife, Eileen Reynolds Unger; and daughter Karen Elrod of Pittsburg. Mr. Unger had two grandchildren, Stacey Roberts and Tracy Elrod; four great grandchildren, Brandy Smallwood, Tyler Elrod, Cody Lint, and Dawson Roberts; and one greatgreat grandchild, Oliver Smallwood.

Services for Lesia A. Grant Wilkerson, 51, were held Oct. 14 at Johnson Funeral Home in Pittsburg with the Rev. Patrick Lloyd officiating. Ms. Wilkerson was born on April 10, 1963 and died on Oct. 7. Interment was held at Oak Grove Cemetery in Leesburg.

Steele

Services for Marjorie Ann Steele, 82, were held Friday, Oct. 10 at Erman Smith Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Parker officiating. Interment was in New Mine Cemetery. Mrs. Steel was born Feb. 7, 1932 in Lubbock. She died Wednesday, Oct. 8 in Pittsburg. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons; Michael and daughter-in-law Patricia of Pittsburg and Larry Steele of Tyler; two grandchildren, Tabitha, (husband, Shane Ballard) and Trisha Renee Steele; two great-grandchildren Eban Steele Ballard and Kayden Eli Nichols; one sister-inlaw, June Wells Fulton of Tyler. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Doyle A. Steele; parents, Clinton Early Wells and Dorris Smith Wells; one sister, Billie Jean Wilkinson; and one brother, John Clinton Wells.

Services for Herbert “Herb” Ray Seale were conducted on Oct. 14 at Erman Smith Funeral have gone to the doctor that day, my situation couldbe much worse. “ Often, people in situations like Mrs. Mayben’s find something to lean on and hers was family. “My family has just been amazing in all of this,Paul, my kids, grandkids, just everybody. There were some times where I felt pretty bad, and thank goodness, Casey is a nurse, that was just such a blessing. Everyone has been so, so supportive in my journey.” Mrs. Mayben said that although she made it through her battle, it’s always in the back of her mind.

Services for Pauline Looney Carpenter, 94 were held Tuesday, Oct. 7 with Bro. Ken Manley officiating. Interment was in Leesburg Cemetery. She was born in Troup on July 15, 1920. She died Thursday, Oct. 2 at her home.

Drennan

Services for James “Jimmy” O. Drennan, 92, were held at Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel Thursday, Oct. 2.He was born Feb. 9, 1922 in Powell, Okla. And he died Sept. 30 at East Texas Medical Center Tyler. He graduated high school in Madill, Okla. Where he was president of the student body and a honor society member. He was a deacon and elder of the Presbyterian Church in Pittsburg and Clerk of the Session for  25 years.
He worked as a carpenter and a builder and he retired from Lone Star Steel after 32 years of service. He was a member of the Frank Sexton Masonic Lodge 206 for 50 years, American Legion Post 422, and served in the Army during World War II. He received a Purple Heart and served in the Korean War as well. He is survived by his spouse, Muriel Anderson Drennan of Pittsburg and one son, Jim Drennan of Richardson.

Services for Jeannie Rozell Garcia, 66, were held Friday, Sept. 19at Bethel Cemetery in Franklin County with Gene Lee officiating. She was born Sept. 14, 1948 and she died at her home in Pittsburg Sept. 15.
