Services for Roberta Boyer, 78, were held Wednesday, Sept. 17 at Eaves Tabernacle Baptist Church in Leesburg with Bro. Ken Manley officiating. Interment was in Leesburg Cemetery. Mrs. Boyer was born Oct. 15, 1935 in Woodland. She died Sept. 14 at her residence in Pittsburg.

Services for Naomi Phillips Williams, 86, were held at Fellowship Baptist Church Saturday, Sept. 13 with Bros. David Kizer, Joe Caudle and Steve Allen officiating. Interment was in Rose Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Williams was born in Mount Pleasant on Aug. 23, 1928 and she died Aug. 9 in Mount Pleasant.

Services for Dorthy Malcom, 90, of Cleburne were conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 29 at Field Street Baptist Church. Rev. John Glover officiated the ceremony, assisted by Dr. John Hall. Burial was at Cleburne Memorial Cemetery. The Visitation was from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

 Services for John Arthur Myles Sr. were held on Aug. 30 at New Boggy Baptist Church in Bethany, La. Mr. Myles was born on Aug. 30, 1951 in Houston and died Aug. 23 at ETMC Pittsburg. A visitation was held Aug. 29 at Johnson Funeral Home in Pittsburg.

Services for Cleveland “Cleve” Johnson were held Aug. 31 at North Ridge Church of Christ in Mount Pleasant with Bros. Jim Parker, Tim Ingram and Steve Agan officiating. The service was under the direction of Bates-Cooper- Sloan Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant. 
He was born May 3, 1957 in Titus County and he died Aug. 28 in Mount Pleasant. Mr. Johnson served as a Titus County Constable and he was a member of the Masonic Lodge.
Pallbearers were: Ross Moss, Scott Williams, James Williams, David Light, Donald Craig and Billy George. Honorary pallbearers were, Jewel Lee, James Steward and members of the Titus County Law Enforcement. Survivors include his wife, Patty; daughter and son-in-law, Kayland and Noe Avila; one grandchild, one great-grandchild; sister and brotherin- law, Kathy and Steve Agan.

Hal McKnight Stierwalt, Sr. was born to Francis Neal McKnight and Henry Brun Stierwalt in Ft. Smith, Ark. on 13 October 1931. He passed 22 August 2014 at the age of 82. Hal graduated from Ft. Smith High School, attended Missouri School of Mines (Missouri A&M) and graduated from Oklahoma State University with bachelor of science in engineering and management. In New Mexico, he was also licensed as a professional engineer. Vigilantly serving his country during the Korean Conflict, Hal was in the Navy.

Thomas Michael Porter, 53, of Iowa Park went to be with his Savior on Aug. 20. Visitation was held at Lakeview Church of God from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 24. A celebration of his life was held Monday, Aug. 25, at 2:00 p.m. at Lakeview Church of God.
Tommy was the pastor at Lakeview Church of God and was a member of the Ministerial Alliance in Iowa Park. Tommy was born Dec. 30, 1960 in Dallas. His parents were Billy and Sue Porter. He lived in Plano, until his parents moved to Winnsboro, where he eventually met and married his wife, Sherrie, on March 10, 1984.
