Harrel

Services for Jeanette Harrel, 85, were held Thursday at Greer Blvd. Church of Christ with Virgil Faires officiating. Interment was in Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Erman Smith Funeral Home. Mrs. Harrel was born Aug. 29, 1928 in Camp County. She died Monday, July 14 at her home in Pittsburg. She was a member of the Greer Blvd. Church of Christ.
 
She is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, Pat Harrel; Dennis and Betty Ann Harrel and Matt and Charlyn Harrel; one daughter, Tonette Harrel; eight grandchildren, Zac and Shandra Harrel, Heather Harrel, Carmen and Chuck Foster, Amy Harrel, Shelli Harrel, Kristi Harrel, Ryne Harrel, Abby Harrel and two great-grandchildren, Nolan Foster and Evahlyn Grace Harrel; and one brother, Charles Thedford.

White

Services for Chris White, 45, were held at Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Bros.Doyle Rust and Chris Jones officiating. Interment was in Rose Hill Cemetery.

 
Mr. White died Monday, July 14 at East Texas Medical Center- Tyler. He was born July 6, 1969 in Mount Pleasant. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. He is survived by his parents, James C. White and Virginia Fullen White; one sister, Angie Jones; grandmother, Billie White, and a niece, Jessica Jones. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, J. C. White and grandparents, Marvin and Elizabeth Fullen.
 
Pallbearers were: Robert Attaway, Paul Bynum, Tim Fullen, Jay White, Jerry Jackson and Perry Weeks. Honorary pallbearers were Ian Griffin, Don Lasson, David Pain and Dale Wetzel.

Winn

Carolyn Martin Winn passed away on July 7, 2014, at her residence in Fort Worth in complete assurance of her heavenly home.
A memorial service celebrating Carolyn’s life  will be held at the First United Methodist Church of Ft. Worth at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Interment will precede the memorial service at Grandview Cemetery in Grandview at 10:00 a.m. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday at Greenwood.

Townsend

Services for Norman Edward Townsend, 77, were held Monday, July 14 at Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Doyle Rust and Bro. Mel Murphy officiating. Interment was in Leesburg Cemetery.
He was born Feb. 24, 1937 in Leesburg. He died Friday,June 11 at his home.
Mr. Townsend was a rancher and served as Camp County Commissioner. He was a member of the Leesburg Baptist Church.
Survivors include his longtime friend andcompanion Bobbie Higginbotham;  one son and daughter-in-law, Joel and Melissa Townsend, and  one daughter and son-inlaw,Amy and Greg Efurd; grandchildren, Brantly, Reagan and Courtlyn Efurd; Crystal Townsend Chapman and husband Clint, and Linsey Townsend Harwell and husband Joseph; great grandchild, Emma Payton Harwell; one brother, Melvin Earl Townsend of Leesburg; and nephew, Bart Townsend.

Bailey

Joe Bailey, 77, died Friday, July 11 at his home in Pittsburg.
Mr. Bailey was born May 28, 1937 in Marion County. He started school in Jefferson and then the family moved to Camp County where he graduated from Pittsburg High School in 1955. After joining the Army, he met his wife Norma and they settled in Irving where he was a builder and developer and the couple raised four children.
His love for the city led him to him to serving on the city council for many years and was instrumental in the construction of the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport and Texas Stadium.  He was a Baptist.
He is survived by the mother of his children, Norma of Irving; one son, Rocky and Alysia Bailey of Irving; three daughters, Marta Bailey of Irving, Lorna Bailey of Pittsburg and Dana and Ray Bailey Mullennix or Irving; two sisters, Laferne Ribble and Mary Ann Nicholson, both of Irving; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Wilson

Services for Robert Allen Wilson, 85, of Leesburg, were held July 6, at Erman Smith Funeral Home in Pittsburg, with burial in Hughes Springs Cemetery in Hughes Springs.
 
Mr. Wilson was born Sept. 7, 1928, in Cass County and died July 3 at East Texas Medical Center in Tyler.
 
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Pittsburg and a member of the Iron Workers Union since 1946.
 
He was preceded in death by parents J.D. Wilson and Leona “Jack” Wilson; daughter, Robba Alynn Wilson; sister: Jeryldyne Adams; and grandchild, Emma Grace Wilson.

Mitcham

A graveside service for Larry L. Mitcham, 74, was held July 4 at Leesburg Cemetery in Leesburg with Bro. Ken Manley officiating. Mr. Mitcham died Wednesday, July 2 at East Texas Medical Center. He was born May 19, 1940 in Pittsburg.
 
Mr. Mitcham owned the Leesburg Store and worked as a butcher. He also served as a Camp County Commissioner for four years. He was a Baptist.
 
Survivors include his wife Nellie of Leesburg; two daughters and sonsin- law, Dorothy and David Barrett of Winnsboro and Donna and Mike Evers of Sommerville; four grandchildren, Justin Worth, Randy Worth, Alicia Evers and Jeremy Evers; one sister Thelma Ann Canessa of Pearland; and seven great-grandchildren.
 
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo C. Mitcham and Lora Jewell Martin Mitcham.

Espinoza

Services for Jose Benjamin Espinoza, 34, were held July 3 at Primera Iglesia Bautista Hispania with Ramon Arma and Jorge Rodriguez officiating. Interment was in Rose Hill Cemetery. Mr. Espinoza was born in Mexica on Nov. 5, 1979 and died in Pittsburg on June 30.

Barrett

Cynthia Ann Barrett was born in Pittsburg on July 7, 1949. She passed away on May 30 at her home in Petaluma, Calif.
 
She was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn and Imogene Barrett.
 
She is survived by one sister and brother-in-law, Glenda and Ronnie Cook; two brothers and sistersin- laws, Ronnie and Carol Barrett and Donnie and Jackie Barrett and numerous nieces and nephews.
 
A private burial was held June 20 at Maple Springs Cemetery in Newsome.

Services for Len Silva Isom were held Sunday, June 29 with the Rev. B. R. Hargest officiating. Interment was in West Chapel Cemetery in Leesburg. Mr. Isom was born July 31, 1935 in Leesburg and died June 22.
