Services for Jerry Green, 72, were held Monday, July 21 at Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Montgomery officiating. Interment was in Matinburg Cemetery.
Mr. Green died Friday, July 18 at East Texas Medical Center. Mr. Green was the owner of Green Motor Company in Pittsburg for many years. He was a member of the Matinburg Baptist Church. Survivors include three sons and two daughters-in-law, Rafe and Tammy Green, Jason and Kaci Green of Daingerfield and Jim Green; four grandchildren, McKenzie Green, Gracie Green, Trent Green, Emily Green and one great grandchild Mia Kate Crayton.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn, and his parents Clarence Aubrey and Mable Thelma Hackler Green.
Pallbearers were: Tommy Davis, John Florey, Frank Parker, Todd Wood, Kevin Parker and Eric Surratt. Honorary pallbearers were: Mickey Crowell, Don Reynolds, James Cavender and Camp County EMS.
