U.S. Army Soldier PFC, Alex Quezada of Mount Pleasant, Texas graduated from Army Basic Combat Training at Fort Benning, Georgia with the Charlie Company C-146 3rd Battalion Infantry on November 9, 2017. PFC Quezada complete Basic Combat Training and was transformed from a civilian into a soldier.
Over a course of nine weeks, he learned the basic tactical and survival skills along with how to shoot in a day/ night time range, throw live grenades, run obstacle courses, rappelling wall, march, and experienced the gas chamber. He also learned the basics of Army life and military customs, including the Seven Core Army Values that cover Duty; fulfilling his obligations, being respectful, to have selfless service, Honor, Integrity, Personal Courage, and Loyalty; to bear true faith and allegiance to the United States Constitution, the Army, his unit and other soldiers.
