Redding

Services for Edna Harrel Redding, 91, were held June 18 at the Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Virgil Faires officiating. Interment was in Rose Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Redding was born Aug. 31, 1922 in Pittsburg and she died Monday, June 16 at Southern Wind Manor.
 
She was a member of the Greer Blvd. Church of Christ.
 
Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Claudia and Perry Henderson; Martha and Jimmy Davis, all of Pittsburg; Cathy and DeWayne Gilbreath of Rockwall; 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; one brother and sister in law, Bo and Mary Harrel of Longview and one sister in law, Ila Kimbell of Pittsburg.
 
She was preceded in death by her spouse, Robert Harold Redding; her parents, John A. Harrel and Maude Davis Harrel; siblings, Aleta Davis, Patsy Matthews, J. W. Harrel, Beauman Harrel, Calvin Harrel; one grandson and one great grandson.

McElhaney

Willie Lee McElhaney, 84, of Middleton, Wis. died June 6. He was born Dec. 5, 1929 to William and Lorena McElhaney. He was the loving husband of Brenda who preceded him in death.
 
Willie Lee never met a stranger. He loved people and he loved life. Willie Lee was born deaf but that didn’t slow him down. He was a role model for his siblings. He showed them you can work hard no matter what the circumstances. He lived and worked in Camp County the majority of his life. He and his family moved to the Wisconsin area after retiring from Pilgrim’s Pride in Pittsburg.
 
Willie Lee was preceded in death by his father, William McElhaney and his mother, Lorena McElhaney and brother Luther McElhaney.

Services for Bruce Alan Hodges, 72, of Hughes Springs were held Thursday, June 19 at The Legacy Center in Hughes Springs. He was born July 24, 1941 in San Francisco, Calif., and he died June 15.

Hefner

Services for Justine Case Hefner, 34, of Troup and her infant daughter, Kinley Case Johnston, were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 25, at Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel. Interment was in Crossroads Cemetery. Mrs. Hefner was born April 12, 1980 in Tyler. She died June 19 in Tyler. Her infant daughter died at Children’s Medical Center in Dallas Monday, June 23.

Services for Joe Farley Jr. were held Saturday, June 21 at New Life Baptist Church with Bro. Weldon Fleming officiating. Interment was in Cedar Grove Cemetery. He was born in Shreveport March 23, 1939 and was currently living in Pittsburg.

Braudaway

Janice Lynn Braudaway, 63, of Bogata died on June 7 at Hospice of East Texas in Tyler. She was born Oct. 25, 1950 to James William and Audrey Bernice (Kinsey) Braudaway in Pittsburg and had lived in Bogata since 1998. She was preceded in death by her parents, her infant son, and brothers, James Michael and William Steve Braudaway. Survivors include sister, Vickey Sue Graham of Tyler; and brother and sisterin- law, Kenneth Wayne and Sandy Braudaway of Mount Pleasant. Cremation arrangements are with Boren-Conner Funeral Home in Bullard.

Services for Jamie Mumma, 29, were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel.
 
She was born Nov. 8, 1984 in Denton.
 
Ms. Mumma died suddenly in a car accident, June 8, 2014 in Camp County.

Burnham

Services for Willard E. “Pop” Burnham, 84, were held June 13 at 3 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Mount Pleasant with Dr. Clint Davis officiating. Interment was in Rose Hill Cemetery in Pittsburg under the direction of Erman Smith Funeral Home. He was born Oct. 20, 1929 in Ruston, La. He died Tuesday, June 10.
 
Mr. Burnham graduated from Haynesville High School in 1947. He attended Louisiana College and graduated from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1962. He was involved in church ministry as a full-time minister of music.

Graveside services for Imogene Adams, 81, were held June 10 with Bro. Steve Packer officiating. Interment was in Rose Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Adams died June 9. She was born in Bowie County July 2, 1932.
