Daingerfield, TX— Daingerfield State Park will host its 2nd Annual Freedom Fest in honor of the Nation’s birthday this Saturday. The festivities will include a 5K Race, Dutch oven cooking contest, booths, scavenger hunts and finish the evening with live music featuring “Hurry Up & Wait” playing classic country and rock classics.

The Pittsburg 10U all-stars tournament placed second in their district tournament played in Atlanta, June23 and 24. They lost their final game against Texarkana, 9-0, however the game was called due to lighting in the area in the third inning. After a brief meeting between the umpires, stat keepers, and coaches Pitt conceded the game.

Landon Graham played in Lake Charles Louisiana the June 2-3, with the Louisiana Empire 10U majors, in the Super Select 30 National Invitational Tournament (NIT) hosted by the United States Specialty Sports Association (ASSSA).
