McElhaney

Willie Lee McElhaney, 84, of Middleton, Wis. died June 6. He was born Dec. 5, 1929 to William and Lorena McElhaney. He was the loving husband of Brenda who preceded him in death.
 
Willie Lee never met a stranger. He loved people and he loved life. Willie Lee was born deaf but that didn’t slow him down. He was a role model for his siblings. He showed them you can work hard no matter what the circumstances. He lived and worked in Camp County the majority of his life. He and his family moved to the Wisconsin area after retiring from Pilgrim’s Pride in Pittsburg.
 
Willie Lee was preceded in death by his father, William McElhaney and his mother, Lorena McElhaney and brother Luther McElhaney.
 
He is survived by a daughter, Tammy O’Hara and husband Ed of Mazomanie, Wis.; two sons, Chris McElhaney of Omaha; David Riffe of Irving; three brothers and sisters in law, Don and Patricia McElhaney of Omaha, James and Cammy McElhaney of Pittsburg, Olen and Shirley McElhaney of Hallsville; two sisters, Mollie McElhaney of White Oak and Patsy Hollinquest of Pittsburg; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
 
Services will be held June 28 at Pentecostals of Pittsburg, 105 Arch Davis Road, at 1 p.m. Burial will be at Yala Busha Cemetery.
