Gary Duane McNatt

  Gary Duane McNatt, 83, of Pittsburg, formerly of Daingerfield passed away on March 25 in Mount Pleasant. Cremation will be by Rader Funeral Home in Longview.  No services will be held.
  Mr. McNatt was born July 17, 1930 in Comanche.  He was a 1947 graduate of Naples High School and a 1951 graduate of East Texas State Teachers College in Commerce.  He retired from Lone Star Steel Company in 1991 after working 37 years in the payroll department.
  Mr. McNatt is survived by his daughter, Teresa Bockmon of Pittsburg; grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Jarrod and Ashley Bockmon of Whitehouse; granddaughter, Hailey McNatt of Pittsburg; former wife, Doris McNatt of Pittsburg and several nieces and nephews.
  He was preceded in death by his son, Mark McNatt, in 2003.

James Arvil Hilton

Services for James Arvil Hilton were held Monday, March 17 at the Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Pittsburg with Bro. Mike Maxon and Bro. Steven Pounds officiating.  Interment was at the Lafayette Cemetery in Lafayette.
Mr. Hilton was born Dec. 7, 1931 in Pittsburg.  He passed away on March 14 at his home in Naples.

James Carroll Harris

Services for James Carroll Harris, 77, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 20 at the Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Pittsburg. Interment will be at the Matinburg Cemetery.  Family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 19 at the funeral home.
Mr. Harris was born July 19, 1936 in Pine.  He passed away on Monday March 17 in Pittsburg.
Mr. Harris worked for Reilly Tar & Chemical in Lone Star for 39 years and graduated from Pittsburg High School in 1955.  He was a Baptist and loved to fish.
Survivors include a sister, Kathryn Redmon and husband Jim of Pittsburg; two nieces, Amber Redmon of Pittsburg and Debbie Harris of Dallas; a nephew, Jimmy Redmon and wife Daphne of Ore City; great nieces and nephews, Taylor Redmon,  Aaron Redmon and Emilee Redmon.
He was preceded in death by his parents, J. C. Harris and Letha Virginia Efurd Harris; and two brothers, Chuck Harris and Tommy Harris.

Funeral services for David Walter Drumm were held Tuesday, March 11 at the First Baptist Church of Hughes Springs with Rev. Daniel Bramlett officiating.  Burial followed at Dennis Cemetery.
Mr. Drumm was born on June 6, 1942 in Garland and passed away March 7 in Longview.

Services for retired CW4 Oscar L. “Dean” Davis were held Wednesday, Jan 22 at 11 a.m. at Community Baptist Church in El Paso. He was born Dec. 5, 1926 in Pittsburg. Oscar is survived by his wife Vernetta, and daughters Rosalind of El Paso and Glenda of Dallas.

Services for David Martin, 46, were held Saturday, March 1 at 4:00 p.m. Bro. Steve Packer officiated the service and interment was held at Macedonia Cemetery. Mr. Martin was born on July 7, 1967 and died on Feb. 27 at the Pittsburg Nursing Center.

Services for Mary Lee Traylor were held Sunday, March 2 at 1:00 p.m. Rev. Patrick Lloyd officiated the service and interment was held at Cedar Grove Cemetery. Mrs. Traylor was born on April 25, 1924 in Pittsburg and died on Feb. 26 as East Texas Medical Center.

Jimmy (Herron) McDaniel

Services for Jimmy (Herron) McDaniel, 52, were held March 4 at First United Methodist Church with the Reverends Virgil Faires and Michael Bedevian officiating. 
He was born Feb. 14, 1962 in Oak Lawn, Ill. He died at his home Friday, Feb. 28 in Pittsburg. He was a Baptist. 
Survivors include three sons, James Cory McDaniel of Sanger, Wesley McDaniel of Andover, Minn., Christopher McDaniel of Plano; two daughters, Paige and Phillip White of Sanger and Brandi McDaniel and Donnie Billy of Carrollton; 13 grandchildren, Raven, Ethan, Hunter, Taylor Allyn, Melanie, Mason, Sean, Dagan, Da’Neiy, Laden, Noveyia and Joshua; two brothers, David Herron of Pittsburg and Scott McDaniel of Ill.; two sisters and brother-in-laws, Cheryl and Paul Woodard and Cassandra and Steve Sheedy of Knox City; brother-in-law, David Williams of Ft. Smith, Ark.

Lynn Norton

Services for Lynn Norton, 76, were held Monday, March 3, at First Christian Church in Mount Pleasant . Mr. Norton died Friday, Feb. 28 at his residence in Pittsburg. He was born Dec. 23, 1938 in Heber Springs, Ark.
