Employees donate check to CASA

“Apples for the Teacher” employees presented CASA of Titus, Camp and Morris Counties with a check in the amount of $724.76 in support of Child Abuse Prevention Awareness Month. “Apples for the Teacher,” located in Mount Pleasant and within Region 8 Education Service Center in Pittsburg, donated 10 percent of coffee sales and all tips during the month of April to CASA.

Memorial Day Service

The Gordon Mattison American Legion Post 422 held its annual Memorial Day Service on Monday,May 30 at noon.The service was held in front of the Veteran’s Monument on the Camp County Courthouse grounds. Guest speaker was Col. Donald Sides, Chaplin for Gordon Mattison American Legion Post 422.
