Looking Back

• Robbers struck twice in Pittsburg last Tuesday, and officers are asking anyone with information on the robberies to come forward. They left town with only $20.

• The current high cost of copper is driving up copper related thefts. Many of these thefts are occurring along railroad right of way, some in Camp County.

• Kendall Wright was selected by the Tyler Courier-Times-Telegraph as a member of the All-East Texas Boys Track Team. Sports staff writer Harold Wilson pulled together an impressive group of tracksters for his All-East Texas team. Wright placed second in the triple jump at the University Interscholastic League State Track and Field Championship meet held in Austin May 13. His silver medal jump was 47-2.
