by ELLIS KNOX

The Lady Pirates volleyball team defeated the Linden Kildare Lady Tigers three games to none. The first game went Lady Pirates 27 - Lady Tigers 24, second was Lady Pirates 25 - Lady Tigers 18, and third went to the Lady Pirates 25 - Lady Tigers 22. There were some rough edges on the Lady Pirates part but they played well. Their coordination was good and this seems to be a very athletic team. Those covering the net were very skillful and covered it well, the height helped. The setters were spot on and hitting was killer.
