Services for Bonnie Rine Grant, 67, of Pittsburg, were held on April 6 at Pine Bluff First Baptist Church with the Rev. Kevin Gunnells officiating. Interment was in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Mrs. Grant was born Feb. 9, 1946, in Pittsburg and died April 1 at East Texas Medical Center Tyler.

Jerral Wayne Johnson

A memorial service for Jerral Wayne Johnson, 44, of Mount Pleasant, was held on April 4.
Mr. Johnson was born March 11, 1969, in Lone Star and died April 1 at Titus Regional Medical Center. He worked in the prepared foods shipping division of Pilgrim’s Pride. He was also a tattoo artist.
He was preceded in death by his father, Paul; brother, Paul “Peanut” Johnson; and his grandparents.
Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife, Sheryl; his son, Angus; mother, Linda; sister, Jimi; brother, Jamie Lynn Johnson; and half-brother, Chris Johnson.

Virginia Reardon Jones

Our dear sweet Mom, Virginia Reardon Jones, was born on July 23, 1924, and went to be with her Lord and Savior April 5. She was a good and faithful servant to Him and her family, all her life.
Her funeral service was held April 8 at First United Methodist Church of Pittsburg with the Revs. Jeff Olive and Michael Bedevian officiating. Pallbearers were William Miller, Drew Cavender, Seth Hefner, Todd Edwards, Thomas Reardon Jr., Stephen Groce, Sam Clemens and Joey Johnston. Honorary pallbearers were Robert Keeling, Jeff Glick, Joe Cavender and Joe Lisbony.

Chloe Jean Lyles

Services for Jean Lyles, 92, were held on March 29 in Greenwood Funeral Home Chapel. Interment was in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
She was born Aug. 26, 1921, in Pittsburg to Ezera and Lula H. Carpenter and died March 26. She graduated from Pittsburg High School. She married Raymond T. Lyles on July 21, 1941. Jean was a member of the First Baptist Church in White Settlement and a member of Eastern Star in Granbury. She was a devout 42 player and enjoyed playing with Frances and Bill Colwell. Jean was an avid Texas Ranger fan. She retired from Justin Boot Company in 1983. Jean was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She is gone from our home, but not from our hearts.

Services for Maudie Bell Nickleberry, 98, of Marietta, were held on March 30 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Marcus Lockett officiating. Interment was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Nickleberry was born June 19, 1914, in Linden and died March 20 at Golden Villa Nursing Home in Atlanta.

Mr. Ponse was born April 25, 1985, in Mount Pleasant and died March 21 in Upshur County.

Floyd Sharp

Graveside services for Floyd Raymond Sharp, 73, of Leesburg, were held April 2 at the Mount Vernon City Cemetery with Tom Ray officiating.  
Mr. Sharp was born Sept. 21, 1939, in Bokohoma, Okla., and died March 29 at his residence.

Barbara Ann Weeks

Barbara Ann Weeks, 73, of White Oak, loving wife, mom and grandmother, “Mamaw,” peacefully went home to be with the Lord on March 27 after a brief battle with cancer.
She was born May 12, 1939, in Pittsburg to Dallas Huey and Beatrice Nicholson. She attended Pittsburg schools where she met her husband of 55 years, Daulton L. Weeks. The high school sweethearts graduated in 1957 and a few months later eloped to Oklahoma and were married Oct. 5.
Barbara was employed by SWEPCO for 30 years and retired in 1997. She was an active member of White Oak Community Church and enjoyed activities with the Red Hatters. Most of her spare time was spent watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren play sports. She and Daulton traveled many a mile and sat through many a game of baseball, volleyball, softball and basketball.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Dallas and Beatrice Nicholson, and a brother, Thomas E. Nicholson.

Wright Patrick Burns

Services for Wright Patrick Burns, 51, of Pittsburg, were held on March 20 with the Rev. Milton Jones officiating. Interment was in Hickory Hill Cemetery in Pittsburg.
Mr. Burns was born May 31, 1961, in Pittsburg and died March 13 at East Texas Medical Center Tyler.
