Pittsburg Art and Wine Festival is April 27

Pittsburg’s first Art and Wine Festival will be held in Pittsburg on April 27.
“Obviously, these are really popular right now across Texas,” said Clint Hardeman, the city’s main street/economic development director.

Camp County Jail Log for April 10-14

The Camp County Sheriff’s Office reports the following activities:
On April 10, Phillip Craig Brooks was arrested by the Sheriff’s Office. He is being held for Upshur County.
Two days later the Pittsburg Independent School District Police Department arrested Marquaous Travon Grant for theft of over $50 but under $500.

Registration for Mayor’s Cup Golf Tourney begins

The 2013 Mayor’s Cup Golf Tournament will be held May 16 at Princedale Country Club.
Entry fees are $200 per four-person team with a shotgun start at 1 p.m.  Cart rental is extra.

City renews agreement with Main Street Program

An agreement between the city of Pittsburg and the Texas Main Street Program was approved by the city council April 8. This is a yearly renewal to participate as a sustaining member of Main Street for 2013. The cost is $400 per year, and Director of Community and Economic Development Clint Hardeman said ...

Camp County Aggie Muster held on April 21

On April 21, Muster will be held for all Camp County Aggies at the Carpenter Farm on Highway 11 West at 6 p.m.
