Pittsburg’s first Art and Wine Festival will be held in Pittsburg on April 27.

On April 10, Phillip Craig Brooks was arrested by the Sheriff’s Office. He is being held for Upshur County.

The 2013 Mayor’s Cup Golf Tournament will be held May 16 at Princedale Country Club.
Entry fees are $200 per four-person team with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. Cart rental is extra.

An agreement between the city of Pittsburg and the Texas Main Street Program was approved by the city council April 8.
