Service for Bobbie Sue Nugent, 84 of Gilmer were held Sunday, Nov . 19, 2017, 2 p.m. at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gilmer with Bro. Clay Potter and Bro. Leo Trimble officiating. Interment followed at Concord Cemetery under the direction of Croley Funeral Home. Family . Friends were received Saturday, Nov . 18, 2017 at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. Mrs. Bobbie passed away Thursday, Nov . 16, 2017 in Gilmer. Mrs. Nugent was born March 27, 1933 in Camp County to the late Eunis Seale and Viccie Smith Nugent. Mrs. Nugent was a supervisor for the sewing factory at Gilmer Manufacturing Company and worked for Mayben’s Menswear in Pittsburg for 26 years. She was also a member of the Concord Baptist Church. Bobbie is survived by her sons; Ray Nugent and wife Wenona of Gilmer, Gary Nugent and wife Donna of Gilmer, Kenny Nugent and wife Kim of Pittsburg, brother; Lacy Seale of Pittsburg, 11 grandchildren, and 36 great grandchildren.

Randy Glenn Wilson

Randy Glenn Wilson, 58 years old of Pittsburg, passed away Nov . 2, 2017. He was born on May 4 , 1959 in Pecos. Randy graduated from R. L. Turner High School in Carrollton. Upon graduation he moved to Pittsburg. Randy worked for his father briefly, and then started his own business in dirt and construction. He was an avid deer hunter, and spent many happy hours in his deer stand at his place. Randy is survived by his mother and father: Geneva Ann Norwood and Donnie Glenn Wilson, both of Pittsburg, sister LaDonna Wood from Pittsburg and Rocky Wilson from Dripping Springs , two nieces , Susan White and Tonya Collings, and one nephew, Cory Wilson. A memorial service w as held Sunday, Nov . 5, 2017 at Erman Smith Funeral Home to celebrate Randy’s life.

Robinson

Eunice Morrell Carpenter Robinson, of Longview, passed away peacefully Saturday evening, Oct . 28, 2017 at the age of 87. Eunice was born Nov . 17, 1929 in Ft. Lyon, Colo . to Ray and Aletha Morrell. She attended San Fernando High School in California. She moved to Texas at the age of 16 where after raising her family, she worked as a supervisor at Mike Benet formals and in her later years she worked in Dallas in the life and health insurance field as an agent. She was a member of the Business and Professional Women’s Club. Eunice was a very caring, devoted and fun-loving mother and grandmother, always making the best of wherever she was in life, adding to her surroundings her special touch. She was known for her gourmet cooking and gracious, welwelcoming hospitality to those that she knew. She had great fun with her girlfriends from Pittsburg she called “the girls”, even when they were all senior citizens.

Kirby

Ellis Kirby, 62, of Pittsburg passed away Sunday, Oct . 29, 2017 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born Nov . 29, 1954 in Dallas to Marshall Ray Kirby and Melva Maxine Wood Kirby. Ellis married the love of his life Mary Phanel Kirby on July 8, 1978 in Dallas. Their wedding was officiated by the late Rev. Clarence Kirby, Ellis’ paternal grandfather. Phanel and Ellis raised 2 sons, Brian and Andy, and shared a passion for the outdoors, hunting and fishing with their sons every chance they had. Mr. Kirby started his career in Dallas as one of the region’s premier automotive transmission builders. His attention to detail and knowledge of how to achieve the most best result were among traits that made him second to none. Ellis’ transmissions were in high demand, and he enjoyed guaranteeing that his craftsmanship would yield the most durable transmissions available. In his spare time, Ellis could be found competing in fishing tournaments throughout Texas and Louisiana.

Harwell

Alice McNamara Harwell, wife, mother, friend, passed away peacefully Oct. 25, surrounded by family, friends and caregivers. Services were held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 30, at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church with The Rev. Raymond Joe Waldon officiating and The Rev. Sharon Cox assisting. Burial followed at Oakwood Cemetery. There was a reception at 12:30 p.m., in the Parrish Hall at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, prior to the service. Visitation was at 4-6 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 29, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home. Alice was born Dec. 18, 1918, in Marlin to John McNamara and Alice Goodrich McNamara. She attended Waco public schools and graduated from Baylor University in 1939. She married Dillard Harwell in Nov. 1939, and they lived in Waco until he passed away in 1987. Alice had three brothers, Guy, John and Dan, who preceded her in death. She was a lifelong member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. She served on the Altar Guild in excess of 50 years.

Sam Bray, 59, of Pittsburg, passed away at his home in Pittsburg on Monday, Oct . 23, 2017 surrounded by his family. Sam was born Sept . 8, 1958 in Harlan, Ky . to Roy Thomas Bray and Mary Ella Bray. Sam wed the love of his life, Tina Noe on Oct . 10, 1983. Over the next 34 years they would laugh, love, and raise a family. Sam was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He enjoyed being outdoors fishing and camping, especially with his grandchildren.
