Nancy Ferrell, of Pittsburg, passed away in Winnsboro Friday, Sept . 29, 2017 following a brief illness. She was born in Ponca City, Okla . on Aug . 13, 1935. Throughout her 82 years, Nancy touched many peoples ‘ lives with her kindness, generosity and positive spirit. It’s easy to smile when remembering how much she loved her family and friends and the fun we shared with her. She truly did bring love and joy into our lives. Although we grieve Nancy’s death, we are strengthened by the knowledge that it was her decision to forego further treatment for her illnesses and she was spiritually, emotionally and physically ready to be with God and her loved ones. We have been greatly comforted by the prayers, support and understanding that Nancy received from friends, neighbors, and health care professionals. She frequently voiced her appreciation for being so well taken care of. Nancy is survived by her husband of 61 years, Kermit D.
