Earl Julian, of Pittsburg, passed away Saturday, Aug. 20 at the age of 91. Mr. Julian was born Aug. 3, 1925 in Leesburg to Henry Louie Julian and Annie Cleo Scarborough Julian. Durign World War II he joined the U.S. Navy in 1943 and served until he was honorably discharged in 1945. While stationed in California he met and later married Mary Katheryn Pilgrim. After his military service Earl attended Tyler Commerical College, and graduated with an accounting diploma in 1946. He was a past Camp County Judge, and also Camp County Auditor. Mr. Julian also enjoyed careers with both Lone Star Steel and Camp County Building Supply. He was also long time rancher. Mr. Julian was a member of First Baptist Church in Pittsburg, and had been a prior member of Pine Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon for many years.

Martin Banda Pacheco, 52, of Winnsboro died Sunday, Aug. 14 in Tyler. He was born March 28, 1962 in Mexico. Services were held Tuesday, Aug. 16.

Billie Joyce England, 85, of Tyler died Saturday, Aug. 13. She was born Jan. 16, 1931.

Delene Lee, 77, of Mount Pleasant died Tuesday, Aug. 2 in Pittsburg. She was born April 19, 1939 in Paris. Services were Friday, Aug. 5 and burial was in Ebenezer Cemetery.

Services for Yvonne Helen Crowley, 88, were held at Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel under the direction of Virgil Faires Saturday, Aug. 13 at 10 a.m. Interment was in Center Cemetery in Harleton. Mrs. Crowley was born Dec. 14, 1927 in Hosston, La. She died Wednesday, Aug. 10 at East Texas Medical Center in Tyler. She was a Christian and worked as an LVN. She is survived by one son, John Forbing of Longview; two daughters, Jeannine and husband Doyce Kennington and Renee and husband Bryan Biddy of Birmingham, Ala.; eight grandchildren, Kevin and Charlie Kennington, Tina and Jeff Folden, Shawn and Amy Kennington, Kristin and Brian Miller, Chase and Jessy Moseley, Kylene Forbing, Stephen Forbing and Alecia and Trenton King; and 16 great-grandchildren. Jeanette Landers Bishop of Pittsburg, Texas, whom some only knew as Granny, passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 in Longview, Texas a er 95 years of loving others generously through her gi s of gardening, sewing, cooking, and spending quality time with others. She joins her inseparable companion and husband of 68 years, LJ Bishop, to enjoy God’s presence and love. Jeanette was born in February 1921 inCampCounty, Texas to Noah Hicks Landers and Cora Bell Milligan Landers where she grew up with siblings Floy, Roberta, Horace, and Marie, along with fostered brother Allen Duke. She graduated from Pittsburg High School in 1939 and several years later on November 1, 1942 married LJ Bishop. While raising their daughters, Charlotte and Yvonne, Jeanette was a homemaker and sewed beautifully intricate formal and pageant dresses for Mike Benet Formals for 20 years.

Mr. Kenneth Moad, age 89, was lead by Jesus on Wednesday, Aug. 3 to his permanent home, peacefully he went with Him that morning. He was born on Aug. 8, 1926 in Lubbock, one of 10 children to the late J.W. Moad and Beulah Marton Moad. He was retired from the pharmacy industry and was preceded in death by parents. A er working many years in Fort Worth as a buyer for Skillern Drugs, he decided to make a move to ‘God’s Country’. He resided for 34 years here where he enjoyed gardening and farming. Spending most of his life caring for others including serving our country during WWII, made him the special man that he was. All that knew him loved and appreciated him for who he was. He is survived by devoted wife, Gerry AllenMoad of Gilmer; sons, Dennis Moad of Fort Worth, Danny Moad and wife Devonna of Fort Worth, Michael Petterson of Irving, James Patterson and wife Melinda of Mt.

Services for Anita McMinn Cobb Crain, 93, were held at Bates-Cooper-Sloan Chapel in Mount Pleasant on Saturday, Aug. 6 with Rev. Mike Cli on o ciating. Interment was in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Mount Pleasant. Mrs. Crain died at Heritage Park on Aug. 3 in Mount Pleasant. She was born March 27, 1923 in Camp County. She was the owner of the Dr Pepper Bottling Company in Nacogdoches. She was a member of the Tennison Memorial United Methodist Church and participated in the United Methodist Women, Janet Martin Sunday School Class and ursday Morning Circle and Eastern Star. She is survived by two sons, Charles Mac Cobb and wife Jan of Mount Pleasant and Dr. Steve W. Cobb and wife Joy of Midland; one step-daughter, Jane Dollins and husband Arthur of Paris; one brother-in-law, Bobby Barrett. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ivan Otis and Vern Nevade Wray McMinn; husbands, Charles Cobb and M. B.

Services for Glyndon JoAnn Shelton, 82, were held Wednesday, Aug. 3 at Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Kyle Smith o ciating. Interment was in Smyrna Cemetery inWood County. Mrs. Shelton was born Dec. 25, 1933 in Dallas and she died Sunday, July 31 in Tyler at East Texas Medical Center. She worked as an accountant and owned Shelton Gunite Inc. with her husband. She was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church and enjoyed caring for a menagerie of cats and dogs through the years. Survivors include three daughters, Joanna Lynn Woods and husbandDan of Leesburg; Jeri Lynell Gar eld of Pittsburg; Lari Robin Shelton Hall and husband Terry of Little Elm; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren; one sister Brenda Vannatta and husband Chris of Princeton. She was preceded in death by her parents Claude H. Stewart and Trubye Lee Wood Stewart and her spouse, Donald Frank Shelton.

Rex Herbert Duncan, age 91, passed away peacefully ursday morning, July 14 in Pittsburg. Rex was born July 28, 1924 in Brumley, Texas to Oliver Houston Duncan and Ester Light Duncan. He graduated from Pittsburg High School in 1942. On February 15, 1943 Rex was inducted into the US Army Air Force. Corporal Duncan would serve throughout the European campaigns in Normandy, Northern France, the Ardennes, the Rhineland, and Central Europe before his demobilization in October of 1945. Following his military service he married the love of his life, Mary Elizabeth Vaughn. A er a lengthy career with Diamond Shamrock Rex enjoyed his retirement in Pittsburg. He was an avid golfer, sherman and hunter. Rex and family were long time members of the First United Methodist Church. Rex is survived by his son: James Duncan, of Pittsburg; numerous nieces and nephews, and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents: Oliver and Ester Duncan; his beloved wife Mary Duncan; and 3 brothers.
