Services for Glyndon JoAnn Shelton, 82, were held Wednesday, Aug. 3 at Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Kyle Smith o ciating. Interment was in Smyrna Cemetery inWood County. Mrs. Shelton was born Dec. 25, 1933 in Dallas and she died Sunday, July 31 in Tyler at East Texas Medical Center. She worked as an accountant and owned Shelton Gunite Inc. with her husband. She was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church and enjoyed caring for a menagerie of cats and dogs through the years. Survivors include three daughters, Joanna Lynn Woods and husbandDan of Leesburg; Jeri Lynell Gar eld of Pittsburg; Lari Robin Shelton Hall and husband Terry of Little Elm; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren; one sister Brenda Vannatta and husband Chris of Princeton. She was preceded in death by her parents Claude H. Stewart and Trubye Lee Wood Stewart and her spouse, Donald Frank Shelton. Pallbearers were Daniel Moses, Otis Rish, Christian Rish, Evan Moses, Bobby Gar eld and Wade Davis. Honorary pallbearer was Terry Hall.
