Charlie Ray Ladd passed died Sunday, March 4, at Titus Regional Medical Center, M ount Pleasant at the age of 85. His funeral was held Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 10 a.m. at St. Beulah C.M.E. Church in Pittsburgwith Rev. Charles Darty as eulogist . Burial w as in Cedar Grove Cemetery.

Abbie Lou Brank Alexander Bynum

Abbie Lou Brank Alexander Bynum of Pittsburg, age 92 passed away Friday March 9, 2018 in Richardson. Mrs. Bynum was born Feb. 4, 1926 to Mark Erwin Brank and Mattie Myrtle Thomas Brank in Pittsburg. She was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church in Pittsburg. Mrs. Bynum is survived by her granddaughter Angele Bohling of Richardson; grandsons, Mark “Bubba” Presley Alexander and wife Danica of Rowlett, and Beau Thomas Alexander of Sadler, three great-grandchildren, and a daughter-in-law Anna Alexander of Rowlett. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Bynum; her parents; son, Mark Alexander; brothers, Ed Brank, and Alfred Brank; sisters, Martha Davis, and Virginia Narramore. Services were held 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 13, at Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Macedonia Cemetery in Pittsburg. The family received friends Monday night from 5–7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Ann Taylor Reeves

Ann Taylor Reeves left for her heavenly home on Feb. 14, 2018. Born on May 8, 1935 in Dallas, she left a lifelong legacy of service to her hometown community of Pittsburg, her state of Texas and her country. A memorial will be held in Pittsburg at her beloved First United Methodist Church at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 17. Relatives and friends are welcome as we celebrate the glorious life of this special lady. There will be a small reception at the church after the memorial. Memorial contributions are welcome at First United Methodist Church, 115 Mt. Pleasant Street, Pittsburg, Texas 75686.

Richard Spencer

Services for Richard Spencer, 87, of Longview are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday, at Alpine Church of Christ in Longview, with John Richard Spencer and Jay Spencer officiating. Burial will be at Rosewood Cemetery under the direction of Rader Funeral Home, Longview. Visitation will be at Rader Funeral Home, Longview on Sunday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Mr. Spencer died February 22nd in Longview. He was born August 6, 1930 in Leesburg, Texas to John Clifford and Jesse Mae Spencer. He lived in Longview since 1958. Mr. Spencer graduated from Pittsburg High School in 1947 where he was a standout football player, rushing for over 1000 yards and 22 touchdowns his senior year. After graduating high school, he attended North Texas State University, graduating with a degree in Business Administration. Upon graduation, he enlisted in the Army and served in the Korean War from 1952-1954, where he was an expert marksman.

Bobby Don Massey

Bobby Don Massey, 80, of Pittsburg was born Jan. 21, 1938 in Upshur County to Norris and Leona Pollard Massey and passed away Feb. 22, 2018 in Tyler. Mr. Massey was a member of Pine Baptist Church where he served as a deacon for many years. He served his country in the National Guard, worked for Lone Star Steel and as a chicken farmer for 30 years. In his retirement he enjoyed transporting cars for local car dealerships. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Wanda Glen Efurd Massey, and brothers, Dale Massey and Eugene Dewayne Massey. He was survived by his sons, Dennis Massey and his wife Vicki of Gilmer, and Greg Massey and his fiancé Amy Givens of Pittsburg; grandchildren, Constance Massey, MaKinzie Reese and her husband Braden, Caleb Massey, Avery Massey, and Braden Givens. Services were held 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 24, at Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Crossroads Cemetery in Camp County. Bros.
