Couples celebrate more than graduation

By Carolyn Anders
Special to The Pittsburg Gazette

Graduation is closing in on the Class of 2014, and I sincerely hope this group of teenagers has created memories that will last them a lifetime. My momma always said, “Enjoy your senior year in high school because those are the best days of your life.” I definitely believe in those words because I can remember so many moments from that year. Sooner than they realize, this year’s graduating class will be planning their 10 year reunion and will wonder where the time went. I graduated with the Pittsburg High School Class of 1968, and every 10 years we get together and share special memories of the 12 years most of us spent together. However, one graduating class is different from all the other classes that have passed through the hallowed halls of PHS.
