Smith & Walker

Bonnie Willis of Pittsburg is pleased to announce the approaching marriage of her daughter, Pamala Walker, to Namor Tyrone Smith. He is the son of Helen Smith of Pittsburg and the late Jimmie Smith. Ms. Walker is a 1992 PHS graduate and is employed by Eastman Chemical Company as a chemical operator. Mr. Smith is a 1990 PHS graduate and is a Sgt. with the Mount Pleasant Police Department. The couple will wed in Pittsburg at the Region 8 Education Service Center on Nov. 1 at 5:30 p.m. After their honeymoon, the couple will reside in Pittsburg.

Sylvia Warrick Radcliffe of Whitehouse and Don and Linda Radcliffe of Longview, wish to announce the arrival of the latest addition to the family. Harlow Leigh-Ann Ghiglieri was born July 15 at 10:20 a.m. at Huntington Hospital in Pasadena, Calif. weighing in at 8 pounds 15.8 ounces and 20 inches long.
The proud parents are Paul and Tara Ghiglieri of Studio City, Calif. Ms.Radcliffe is a graduate of Pittsburg High School.

Mr. and Mrs. Greg Shurbet of Hallsville are pleased to announce the engagement and approachingmarriage of their daughter, Kathryn Beth, to William Cody Prescott, son Mr. andMrs. Jeff Prescott of Perdido Key, Fla.
Katie graduated from Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, in 2012 with a master’s degree in business administration. She is employed with DHI Mortgage as a mortgageloan originator.
Cody earned a Bachelor of Science degree in agri-business from
Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia, Ark.in 2010. He is employed as a construction superintendent with Genesis Endeavors.
They plan a destination wedding in Orange Beach, Ala. on Nov. 15. After their honeymoon to Hawaii, Katie and Cody plan to make their homein San Antonio.

Emerson Ellis, 3 years old, announces the arrival of her baby sister Katherine Bennett Ellis, who was born on June 23 in Dallas. She weighed 8 pounds, 5 ounces, and was 19.5 inches long. Her parents are David Ellis and Kristi Crowell Ellis of Dallas.
 
Katherine’s grandparents are Mickey and Jan Crowell of Pittsburg and Dorothy and Charles Ellis of Oklahoma.

Donald and Sheryl Carriere of Opelousas, La. are pleased to announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter Kelli Elizabeth Carriere to Jonathan George Woods, both of Plano.
 
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Ivy Carriere of Opelousas and the late Joseph Nathan Carriere; and Rodney and Verna Arnaud of Port Barre, La.
 
She graduated from Opelousas Catholic School in 2005 and earned a bachelor of science in business administration at Northwestern State University in 2008. She is employed as a claims adjuster for QBE.
 
The prospective groom is the son of the Rev. Michael and Dianna Woods (formerly of Pittsburg) of Mount Vernon. His grandparents are the late John and Helen Woods; and the late George and Joy McKinley.
