Center Point Neighborhood Watch hosts “Meet the Candidates” February 24
The Center Point Neighborhood Crime Watch will be having a meet and greet the candidates on Feb. 24.
The program will be start at 6:30 p.m. Monday night at the Douglass Alumni Community Center located at 408 N. Terry St.
The candidates will be allowed six minutes to speak and express what their desire is to improve and lead our local government. The candidates that will be speaking are as follows:
Under the Republican ticket:
District Judge, 276th Judicial District, Robert Rolston; County Judge candidate, Thomas Cravey, District Clerk candidate, Melisa D. Tidball; District Clerk candidate, Teresa Bockmon; County Clerk candidate Elaine Young; County Treasurer candidate, Kim Pittman; County Treasurer candidate Missy Griffin; County Surveyor candidate, John E. McNutt; County Commissioner Precinct 2 candidate, Steven D. Hudnall; County Commissioner Precinct 4 candidate, Brian Wall; County Commissioner Precinct 4 candidate, Steve Lindley; County Commissioner Precinct 4 candidate, Vernon Griffin; and Justice of the Peace, Bobby Carpenter.
Under the Democratic ticket:
County Judge candidate, Gib Wilson.
