Sips and Sweets event planned for Saturday

A special event coordinated by Pittsburg’s Main Street committee, ‘Sips and Sweets’ is planned for Saturday, Feb. 15, from 3 to 7 p.m. The occasion, on Valentine’s weekend, features a progressive array of treats and wines.
Guests will be able to pick up their wine glasses at the Historic Abernathy House and enjoy some wine and treats with their sweethearts as well as learning about Pittsburg’s vernacular architecture.
Tickets to participate can be purchased in advance from City Hall, participating stores on Main Street or during the event at the participating locations mentioned above and include a commemorative glass. Tickets are $20 per person or $30 per couple. All proceeds benefit the Main Street program.
