Traffic stop nets drugs

A routine traffic stop turned into a drug bust for the Pittsburg Police as officers seized marijuana and what they believe to be cocaine.
At approximately 9:09 p.m. on Jan. 18, Pittsburg Police Officers initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 100 block of Pecan Grove. Officers identified the driver as Jamarcus Lamon Carter, 21, of Pittsburg. As a result of the investigation that started with this stop, officers located a green leafy substance believed to be marijuana and a sizable amount of a white powder believed to be cocaine. Mr. Carter was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance (more than four grams, less than 200).
