Main Street coordinates ‘Sips and Sweets’ for February

A special event coordinated by Pittsburg’s Main Street committee, ‘Sips and Sweets’ is planned for Saturday, Feb. 15, from 3 to 7 p.m.
The occasion, on Valentine’s weekend, features a progressive array of treats and wines at three locations.
The first stop for attendees is at the Old Ice House, by the railroad tracks on Quitman Street.
The second leisurely stop will be on the southwest corner of Quitman and Texas streets, the historic Abernathy House and guest will make their final stop  at the historic Holman House on Texas Street. Tickets to participate can be purchased in advance from City Hall or during the event at the participating locations mentioned above and include a commemorative glass.

Tickets are $20 per person or $30 per couple. All proceeds benefit the Main Street program.
