The following questions were submitted to City Manager Clint Hardeman concerning the new police station: 1. Total projected cost of the new police station including any landscaping; 2. name of contractor; 4. cost of security system; and 5. projected date of opening.
Mr. Hardeman’s response is as follows: “The construction contract with TCMC – Commercial, LP was in the amount of $578,000. Landscaping was not a part of the contract and will be provided by the city which is in the process of receiving quotes at this time. There is an access system that allows access to employees into the building similar to the system at City Hall. That particular system cost was $5,000. The tentative opening date of the new facility is Nov. 11, 2013.”
