Youth retreat scheduled
New Testament Holiness Church annual summer youth retreat – “On God’s Team in 2017” -- is set July 3-7 for children ages 2-18.
They will participate in Bible classes, games, crafts and other fun activities Monday through Thursday 9 a.m. to noon.
A basketball tournament is planned for Friday, along with other activities at Old Emmanuel gym and free lunch at Pizza Inn.
Youth revival services each night at 7 p.m.
Breakfast and lunch are free to all participants.

VBS each Saturday at church
Vacation Bible School will be held each Saturday in July at the Pittsburg Church of the Nazarene.
Classes are 5-8 p.m. There will be Bible stories, crafts, games and dinner served each night.
The church is located at 350 CR 2110 in Pittsburg.

VBS at local church
The Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church will conduct Vacation Bible School from July 10-14 at the church.
Times are 9 a.m. to noon each day.
The week will be filled with Bible lessons, missions, crafts, games and music that is centered on the life of Jesus.

Summer revival set
Living Green Baptist Church will host a summer revival on July 12-14. Services begin at 7 p.m. each night.
Minister Bobby Mays of St. Beulah C.M.E of Pittsburg will speak Wednesday, with Rev. Dwight White of Denton Baptist Church in Mount Vernon will speak on Thursday.
On Friday, Rev. Roy Miles of Pine Bluff Missionary Baptist Church of Naples is the speaker.
Pastor Rev. W.L. Chism welcomes the public to attend.
Annual homecoming
Living Green Baptist Church will hold their annual homecoming on Sunday, July 16 at 3 p.m.
Rev. Charles McCoy is the guest speaker. He is pastor of the Sherman Chapel Baptis Church in Judson.
The public is invited.
Deacon ordination
Living Green Baptist Church will hold a Deacon Ordination Service on Sunday, July 23 at 3 p.m.
The guest speaker and moderator will be Rev. B.R. Hargest of the Union Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Pittsburg.
Rev. W.L. Chism is the pastor and he invites the public to attend.
