Fifth Annual Pittsburg Art and Wine Festival is May 27

The Fifth Annual Pittsburg Art and Wine Festival is set from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, May 27 in the historic district of downtown Pittsburg at Pilgrim Plaza.
The festival will showcase great wines from The Piney Woods Wine Trail.
The event will also feature extraordinary artists from the East Texas area displaying and selling their pieces to the public as well as music and local culinary treats from Cadillac Cuisines, Country Belle Pies, Blue Moon Street Eats and Street Licious.
The event drew more than 1,000 people last year.
This event is free to the public or tickets are $5 each for individuals who may wish to do tastings, and includes a souvenir glass and tote bag. Wineries will be on hand to discuss and sell wines by the taste, the glass or bottle.
This year’s entertainment will be going on in the Plaza from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will be provided by The Patrons and Low D Music. Starting at 5 p.m., local East Texas favorite Cole Scoggins will be taking the main stage on North Avenue with his band until 8 p.m.
All proceeds from this event go to benefit Pittsburg Main Street projects for 2017-2018.
