Robinson
Mildred Robinson was born Feb. 21, 1934 in Camp County to Elvin Reel McCaslin and Myrtle Canant McCaslin and passed away on April 3 at her home in Pittsburg in the Holly Springs Community.
She was a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church and was a homemaker to her husband; Carroll and children: Jerry, Donald and Debbie.
She is survived by her husband: Carroll Robinson of Pittsburg; two sons: Jerry Robinson and Donald Robinson, both of Pittsburg; and daughter: Debbie Copeland and her husband Larry of Pittsburg. She is also survived by granddaughter: Amy Bynum Cunningham; great grandchildren: Kaden Proffitt, Kenley Proffitt, Kember Cunningham, Mailey Bynum and Allison Bynum; and sister: Sue Davenport of Pittsburg.
She was preceded in death by her parents and grandson: David Bynum and siblings: E.B. McCaslin, Ruth Knight, Gladys Cravey and Elton McCaslin.
Pallbearers included: Jackie Seale, Elton Sonny McCaslin, Steve Hudnall, Carl Cravey, Thomas Cravey, and Larry Copeland
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., April 5 at Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel and burial followed at Lafayette Cemetery.
Dobbs
Neta Louise “Kitty” Dobbs was born Nov. 14, 1930 in Shamrock to Manton and Lucille Pettey Alvis and passed away April 4 in Longview at the age of 86.
She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and worked over 20 years for the Pittsburg Independent School District in the cafeteria where she thought of the children as her own.
Dobbs is survived by her children: Rickey Dobbs and his wife Patricia of Waller, Texas; Michael Dobbs and his wife Karla of New Caney; Beverly Lucas of Pittsburg; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Herbert L. Dobbs; siblings: Billy Mac Alvis and Delores Ann Baker.
Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. April 8 at Leesburg Cemetery.
