Thefts, burglaries plague Thunderbird Point

The Camp County Sheriff’s Department has arrested two men on warrants in connection with two unrelated burglaries in the Thunderbird Point area.
Corey Duane Sutton, 28, turned himself in at the sheriff’s office on March 17 after a warrant was issued for his arrest. John Dee Jackson was arrested at his residence in Thunderbird Point March 23 by Sheriff Alan McCandless and Chief Deputy Randal Lain Jr.
Sutton was charged with burglary of a habitation stemming from a burglary that occurred on County Road 2606. Jackson, 45, was charged with burglary of a building for a burglary on County Road 2610. Jackson was also charged with possession of a controlled substance over 1 gram under 4 grams.
