Pittsburg man, 33, charged in vehicle theft

Pittsburg Police officers have arrested and charged Rameon Q. Jordan, a 33-year-old Pittsburg resident with theft over $2,500, under $24,999.99 in relation to a vehicle theft case. 
He was arrested on Feb. 16 and booked into the Camp County Jail on the aforementioned charge.
On Feb. 10, Pittsburg Police officers responded to the 600 block of Quitman Street in reference to a stolen car. Officers began an investigation and were able to view a suspect on surveillance footage actually enter the vehicle and drive off in it. The vehicle was later located in Camp County that night.
Identification was made of the suspect after posting the surveillance footage on the Pittsburg Police Department Facebook page.
It was at that time that he was identified as Jordan.
