The Pittsburg City Council approved street closures for the next Main Street Market event as well as the annual Pittsburg Art and Wine Festival that will be held in May. Portions of North Avenue and Marshall Street will be closed for both events. In addition, the council voted to renew City Manager Clint Hardeman’s contract.
The Main Street Market is a continuation of the first Main Street Market, “Home for the Holidays,” that was held in November.
“The feedback we received from the first event was that it was successful and we want to continue these events throughout the rest of the year,” said Hardeman.
The next Main Street Market will be held March 11, while the Pittsburg Art and Wine Festival will be held in May.
