Couple sets June 3 wedding in Grapevine

Mr. and Mrs. Greg Shurbet are pleased to announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Sarah, to Brian Weeks of Dallas. Brian is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ricky Weeks of Tomball. 
Sarah is an optometrist in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex employed by Kleiman Evangelista Eye Care and earned her doctorate in optometry from the University of Houston. 
She graduated from Pittsburg High School in 2008 and from Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene in 2012 where she was a pitcher for the Cowgirl softball team and earned her undergraduate degree in biology and bio-chemistry. Sarah is the granddaughter of Juadeen Shurbet of Winfield and the late Bob Shurbet and Bill and Sandy Rainey. 
Brian is a financial consultant specializing in the utility industry for Ernst & Young. He graduated from Tomball High School in 2006 and from Hardin-Simmons University in 2011 where he was a member of the baseball team as shortstop and earned a degree in finance. 
The couple will be united in marriage on June 3 at DeLaney Vineyards in Grapevine. They plan to make their home in Dallas.
