Man drowns at Lake Bob Sandlin Sunday

Dennis Lee Gipson, 70, drowned Sunday afternoon after he launched his boat at the Farm-to-Market 21 bridge on Lake Bob Sandlin. The boat drifted away from him and according to investigating officers, he tried swimming out to retrieve the boat but was unsuccessful.
