A unity prayer rally is being planned (tentatively) for Saturday, Aug. 6 from 3 to 6 p.m.The rally, which is just in the beginning stages according to Mary Lloyd, will include a monthly community prayer. According to Mrs. Lloyd, what began as a simple Facebook post by Tina Hallonquit Payne turned into a planning meeting for our community. A group of concerned citizens came together at Metropolitan Missionary Baptist Church Sunday, July 10.
