Successful drive

Leesburg Post Office customers made the National Association of Letter Carriers’ Stamp Out Hunger National Food Drive a huge success this year.Generous and compassionate customers gave approximately 700 pounds of food in 51 bags of groceries. Pictured is Leesburg carrier,Todd Williams,with his jeep loaded down delivering not mail but food to Mrs. Verna Hawkins at Habitat for Humanity in Pittsburg. During the past 24 years, over $ billion pounds have been collected throughout our nation on this annual, oneday campaign.
