Pioneer Club awards three scholars for 2016

The Pittsburg Pioneer Club presented three scholarships to three 2016 graduating seniors, Summer Pylant, and Dalton Ernest, from Pittsburg High School and Lilly Pittman, from Bethel Christian School of Pittsburg. The Pioneer club has been around for many years in Pittsburg, there are currently 18 members. They volunteer through-out the city in different functions, they raise money during the Kiwanis Club Pancake Supper in Nov. with a cake auction. One hundred percent of those funds are used to support the library, NTCC, the hospital, and provide scholarships to Pittsburg graduates.
