One call results in three arrests

When Sheriff Alan McCandless and Chief Deputy Randal Lain Jr. responded to a call about a shoplifter, it led not only to one being arrested and charged with the ; it also resulted in two being charged with possession of a controlled substance. “Just after noon on April 4, Chief Deputy Lain and I were dispatched to a business west of town in reference to a the in progress,” Sheriff McCandless said. “We were advised that a man was shoplifting items and taking them outside to a car.”
