PHS DECA brings home state awards

DECA held the state conference last Thursday and Friday in San Antonio with 4,000 plus students in attendance and Pittsburg High School produced five state finalists, Rachel Nelson, Shelby Roark, Kaine Alvarez, Claudia Garza and Tania Cedillo . PHS DECA was recognized as a top 25 chapter in Texas for membership recruitment. They also received awards from the national DECA for membership, community service and promotions. These campaign awards included six places to attend the rive Academy at the International DECA conference in Nashville.
