Black history program to be held Friday night

The annual Black History program will be held Friday, February 26 at Metropolitan Baptist Church located at 219 Clayton St. Food will be served at 6 p.m. with the program beginning at 7. is year’s keynote speaker will be the Rev. Patrick Lloyd, pastor of Metropolitan. Maudie Watson will serve as emcee. The program will consist of several musical numbers as well as participation by younger members of the community. Everyone is invited to attend this event. Come and bring a friend.
