Financial climate of the market is good for Texas school bonds

The Pittsburg ISD School Board has called for a bond election put on the ballot for the May 7, election. The school administration led by Superintendent Mrs. Judy Pollen, and Assistant-Superintendent Mrs. Beth Anne Dunavant have listen and investigated the needs and desires of the faculty, students, and citizens of Pittsburg about the areas of the schools physical plants that need attention, repair, improvement and construction. The Administration and the members of the Pittsburg School Board met several times to discuss these necessities and Feb. 1, met to discuss the list that had been compiled with the engineering firm they had asked to evaluate the cost of the repairs and construction.
