Bain

Services for Bill Ray Bain, 71, were held Monday, Feb. 1 at First United Methodist Church in Pittsburg. Interment was in Lydia Cemetery in Avery. He was born Sept. 8, 1944 in Dallas and died Saturday, Jan. 30 at East Texas Medical Center in Pittsburg. He was in sales and marketing with Reliant Tools and a member of First United Methodist Church in Pittsburg. He is survived by his wife, Margaret; one son, Scott Bain and wife Amy Calloway; one daughter, Amy Jo Bain and husband Lance Hughes; two grandchildren, Triston Bain and Dee McCulloch; step-grandchildren Kaitlyn Neal, Kaleign Neal, Jason Hand, Wesley Balentine and Jordan Balentine; one sister, Barbara Cone; step-son, Brent Neal and wife Patty; step-daughter, Holly Balentine and husband Aaron. He was preceded in death by his parents, J. W. Bain and Ina Modean Bain Campbell; step-father, Claude Campbell; and sister Barbara Cone. Pallbearers were Rhett McCullough, Steve Borkowski, Steve Slinkard, Jim Pendley, Lynn Brown, Aaron Dudley, Jim Seale and Craig Mercer. Honorary pallbearers were Chris Oefinger and James Westfall.
