Pittsburg Intermediate School is nominated for national recognition

In a time when schools are having di cult times with budget cuts and other dynamics that play in the performance of academics, one of Pittsburg’s schools has been nominated for 2016 National Blue Ribbon honors. Pittsburg Intermediate, under the leadership of Principal Sarah Richmond, is one of 26 schools to receive the nomination. Mrs. Richmond was honored with a luncheon in the Intermediate School Library as the entire Intermediate school sta celebrated the Pittsburg Intermediate School’s National honor. Superintendent Judy Pollan credits dedicated sta and supportive parents.
