Project Graduation fundraiser set for Saturday, Jan. 30

The Project Graduation sponsors are hosting a Fifth Saturday Singing on Saturday, Jan. 30, in the Pittsburg High School auditorium at 6 p.m. If you enjoy a choir, praise band, or praise dance groups, you are invited to attend. Admission is $3.00 for students and $5.00 for adults. Kids under kindergarten age are free. All proceeds go to the Pittsburg High School Project Graduation. Project Graduation is a nationally recognized alcohol and drug free party designed to give high school graduates a safe alternative for celebrating their special night. is project has been a great success in Pittsburg for many years and the graduating seniors have enjoyed it as a high-light of their special year. For over 25 consecutive years high school seniors are invited to “Project Graduation”, an all-night, substance-free party for PHS seniors only. Students will be bused to Amazing Jakes in Plano immediately following their graduation ceremony. is is an alternative to the once traditional drinking parties that have taken place a er high school commencement ceremonies, where many lives have been tragically lost. Project Graduation has been successful in preventing those tragedies.
