Jerry Weeks

Services for Jerry Weeks, 66, of Pittsburg, were held on June 21 at Erman Smith Funeral Home with the Rev. Everett Foster and Bruce Overstreet officiating. Interment was in Macedonia Cemetery.
Mr. Weeks was born Sept. 23, 1946, in Dallas and died June 17 at the University of Texas Health Center in Tyler. He worked in construction for many years as a superintendent and was the owner and operator of The Floor Store in Pittsburg. He was also a  member of the Full Gospel Pentacostal Church in Pittsburg.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Lula Birchfield Weeks; seven brothers; and three sisters.
Mr. Weeks is survived by his wife, Nancy Weeks of Pittsburg; his daughter and son-in-law, Stacie and David Rowell of Mount Pleasant; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild. Mr. Weeks is also survived by his brother, James Weeks of Pittsburg; sisters, Shirley Mayes of Irving, Lillian Hudgins of Terrell, Gwen McCormick of Keene, Jerldeen Fain of Mansfield and Jannett Rodreiguez of Dallas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Ronald Weeks, Wesley Weeks, Rodney Weeks, David Rowell, David Mahaffey Jr. and Michael Joe Mahaffey. Honorary pallbearers were Wayne Hadderton and Ray Duke.
