Pitt Elite competes at state

The Pitt Elite summer league track team competed at the state level in College Station July 30-Aug. 3. Coach Troy Lafayette said, "We didn't have any one to medal, but I did had a few that ran their personal best. It was a great experience for all the kids, some were very nervous and that was very understanding."

Coach Lafayette said there were hundreds of students competing at the state level and his team would like to return next year.
"I'm very proud of all of them and really looking forward to next summer," he said.
