Pittsburg native wins in Guam Golf Ball Drop Contest

Former Pittsburg resident Frank Parker and Laurie Fernandez were winners of the Guam Chamber of Commerce Golf Ball Drop Contest. The contest took place on March 14 at the 16th Annual Amateur Golf Tournament at Starts Guam Golf Resort in Dededo. Ms. Fernandez and Mr. Parker share in the total cash amount of $10,000.
The chamber’s golf event and Ball Drop Contest are fund-raising events of the chamber that support its many community programs including the Dave J Santos Scholarship Program and the Armed Forces Committee.
