Services for Randy Sargent, 66, of Leesburg, were held April 17 at 10:30 a.m. at Maple Springs Cemetery in Newsome with Bro. Kelly Don Johnson officiating. Mr. Sargent was born on October 9, 1948 in Mount Pleasant and died at Titus Regional Medical Center on April 14 in Mount Pleasant. Survivors include wife: Sherry Sargent of Leesburg. Two sons: Steve Sargent and wife Jennifer of Mount Vernon; Garland Tosh and wife Kelly of Cookville. One daughter: Kristi Lennox and husband Brad of Omaha. Sixteen grandchildren: Micah Sargent, Justin Sargent, Makenzie Sargent, Toby Craig, Hannah Tosh, Hunter Tosh, Trenton Tosh, Austin Sargent, Tanner Sargent, Trestyn Sargent, Tyler Brockman, Katlyn Loving, Kennedy Storms, Taylor Lennox, Hayden Lennox,and Layton Lennox. Six great-grandchildren: McKenna Windham, Timberly Sargent,Gracie Sigler, Bade Fulce, Maycee Crowston, and Kason Sargent. Three brothers: Johnny and Rhonda Sargent of Mount Pleasant, Wesley and Megan Sargent of Mount Vernon,and Ronnie Sargent of Leesburg. He was preceded in death by parents: Woodrow and Eunice Clark Sargent. Son: Randy Aaron Sargent. Brothers: Charles “Nebo” Sargent and Jerry Dean Sargent.
