What has happened to this country?

My grandfather (Bill Ramsey) and I were eating a meal last week and we got into an interesting discussion about the corruption of morals in this country. Now, I’ve always been an old-fashioned guy, as a matter of fact, my mom has always said that I was “born 40 years old.” It may be because of my upbringing as well, my parents taught me respect, humility, and integrity; admittedly, I haven’t always used those qualities though. So, my point is, I hardly fit in with my age group, who continue to be these liberal progressive hippie-dippy types. Folks my age, I’d say 17 to 28 or so, seem to have no morals, no respect at all…for anything. As we were eating, we were discussing an incident that occurred recently where a teacher was body slammed by one of his students because he (the teacher) wouldn’t give the student his cell phone back. What scares me most about the incident is not one single student in the classroom stepped in to help the teacher.
